How it all started
Frank Flyte ran Southern Hills Carpet for over 40 years. His son Alex grew up around the trade, learning early that the work people remember is the work most cleaners rush past.
Black Hills Carpet & Upholstery Care carries that standard into a second generation. The business is built on restoration-grade work: pulling out what's set in, getting surfaces back to where they started instead of settling for presentable. A carpet can look fine and still hold years of dirt. A seat can pass inspection and still smell like its last owner. We go after what's actually there.
That shows up in the jobs. A used couch that came in yellow and left white. A restaurant floor stripped, sealed, and brought back to life. A last-minute call to get gum out of a seat with no trace left behind. Vehicle details where not a single spot gets missed, down to the canvas covers and the glass.
Rooted in Hot Springs
The shop sits at 357 N River Street in historic downtown Hot Springs. This is a local business in the real sense. The vehicles, homes, and businesses we work on belong to neighbors, and the job gets done like it.

Most outfits stick to one lane. We work across all of them: vehicles, trucks, and ATVs; boats, RVs, and campers; residential carpet and upholstery; commercial flooring and VCT; tile, grout, and indoor concrete. Same hands, same standard, whether it's a family minivan or a brewery floor.
